Support couples
Support couples are Christian couples who have
been married for at least two years and who have
a desire to support engaged couples in their preparation
for marriage.
Each support couple looks after two or three
engaged couples whom they meet and get to know
over supper at the start of each evening. They
also serve them with tea or coffee during the
discussion times.
They arrange a separate meeting in their home
with each of their engaged couples to help them
talk through issues which have been raised during
the course and which have emerged through the
results of the FOCCUS questionnaire.
